Because of its more remote location, (about 25 minutes from Maho Bay Camps) a rental vehicle is very nice to have, but the adventurous and those trying to keep expenses down can use the bus which will get you fairly near Concordia.  Groceries and other necessities can be found in Cruz Bay (roughly 40 minutes from Concordia) where the ferries connect to St. Thomas.  The nearby town of Coral Bay also has restaurants, shopping, entertainment, water sports, and a small, well stocked grocery store, the "Love City Grocery".
