Maho Bay
Eco Tourism at it's finest
Maho Bay Camps
Concordia Eco-Tents
Harmony Studios
The Maho Bay Eco-camps are one of the world's most famous eco-tourism destinations. The original facility was built in 1976 in the Virgin Islands National Park and consisted of 18 tent-cottages. Today there are 114 units, connected by an extensive network of stairs and boardwalks. This is done to prevent erosion.
Harmony Studios
In addition to the tents at Maho Bay, are the Concordia Eco-tents and Harmony Studios. An entire St. John vacation can be had at Maho Bay, with dining facilities, a store, daily activities and several hike-in beaches to snorkel, vacationers looking to "rough it" (although Harmony Studios is hardly roughing it) a bit can truly enjoy the beauty of the parkland bequeathed by Lawrence Rockefeller in 1956.
Another great Eco Tourism resort is Estate Concordia Suites located on the East end of St. John.
